Terms and conditions of enrolment
Waiting periods
With Sanitas Mundi, you can visit the professionals from the Sanitas
Healthcare Network, or if you can visit a specialist or centre
anywhere in the world with the Reimbursement option. Depending on
the assistance you choose, different waiting periods apply.
Reimbursement Option:

240 days for hospital admission and non-ambulatory surgery,
including labour.

36 months for for bariatric surgery in morbid obesity.

150 days for radiotherapy, chemotherapy, cobalt therapy,
radioactive isotopes, linear accelerator, scanner, magnetic
resonance, nuclear medicine, bone densitometry, lithotripsy,
digital arteriography, radio-neurosurgery and prostate
hyperthermia services.

90 days for physiotherapy, rehabilitation, laser therapy, speech
therapy, pathological anatomy.

240 days for cases of psychiatric hospitalisation.
Network Option:

180 days for vasectomy and fallopian tube ligation
·
240 days for hospital admission and non-ambulatory surgery,
including labour.
·
36 months for for bariatric surgery in morbid obesity.
·
180 days for psychological treatment.
